Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Roseville Crash on Highway 65 Near Blue Oaks
ROSEVILLE, CA (April 26, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on Highway 65 near Blue Oaks Boulevard in Roseville.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:33 p.m.
CHP said the motorcycle rider and a silver Volkswagen collided for an unknown reason in Roseville. The two crashed on southbound Highway 65 near the Blue Oaks Boulevard on-ramp.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the car ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. The cause of the Roseville crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the southbound lanes of Highway 65 to shut down near Blue Oaks after the incident.
