Woman, 75, Killed in Hit-and-run Crash Saleroso Drive
ROWLAND HEIGHTS, Calif. (June 12, 2018) — A 75-year-old woman died in a hit-and-run pedestrian collision Monday night as she attempted to cross in the 1800 block of Saleroso Drive, according to KTLA News.
UPDATE: Driver surrendered to police on Tuesday.
Police are now seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect driver who fled the scene without stopping to help the woman who died at a local hospital shortly after the crash.
The collision took place about 7:05 p.m. when a silver 4-door Pontiac headed southbound on Saleroso Drive struck the woman. Her husband told police the driver accelerated after hitting his wife and sped off.
Police are asking for witnesses to come forward or anyone with security cameras to contact the CHP at 562-868-0503 or 323-259-3200.

It is unknown at this time who is going to be held responsible for this collision. Police need to locate the suspect driver who left the scene and they need help.
