TULARE, California (April 27, 2016) – A bicyclist was killed following a traffic collision at South Blackstone Street and East Bardsley Avenue early Wednesday, according to Visilia Times-Delta.
The fatality was identified as 44-year-old Roy Justus.
The accident happened at around 12:13 a.m.
Preliminary reports stated that a big rig tractor trailer was traveling north on Blackstone when it suddenly collided with a bicycle.
The force from the impact left Justus lifeless at the scene.
The police have identified the rig driver as 28-year-old Louie Godoy, as mentioned in the article.
The cause of the smash remained under instigation. Authorities continue to gather more evidences before pronouncing closure.
