
Man Who Died in Crash at Tujunga Wash Identified
TUJUNGA, Calif. (March 2, 2023) – Ruben Manucharyan, 25, died Friday in a solo-vehicle collision on West La Tuna Canyon Road in Tujunga.
He was one of three male occupants in the black Mercedes Benz sedan that partially crashed into a nearby aqueduct, according to the Los Angeles Times. The fatal crash happened around 3:10 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24th at 6340 West La Tuna Canyon Road in Tujunga.
Ruben Manucharyan was reportedly ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene and reported the two other men had exited the vehicle before they arrived.
Paramedics transported the two injured men by ambulances to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, a heavy rescue unit from the LAFD removed the damaged vehicle from the dry aqueduct.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine what led to the crash and liability.
