3 Injured in Crash on 60 Freeway Near Rubidoux Boulevard
RUBIDOUX, CA (November 9, 2021) – Several were hospitalized after a car crash on the 60 Freeway in the Rubidoux community.
The Riverside County Fire Department first logged the incident early Tuesday. Officers reported the wreck at about 12:53 a.m.
According to Cal Fire, three vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed on the westbound side of the 60 Freeway, just east of Rubidoux Boulevard.
Multiple Vehicles Collide in Rubidoux
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and soon extricated a trapped occupant from the wreck. A total of three people, including the rescued victim, ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took all three patients to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the westbound lanes of the 60 Freeway to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Rubidoux crash is still under investigation.
