Multi-Vehicle Crash on Hwy 330
RUNNING SPRINGS, Calif. (March 24, 2023) — A multi-vehicle crash on State Route Highway 330 happened Friday morning at Upper Passing Lane in Running Springs, California.
The collision occurred on City Creek Road (Hwy 330) between the upper and lower passing lane around 7:11 a.m. on March 24th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Three vehicles were involved including a silver Toyota 4Runner SUV that was facing the wrong way after the crash. Also, a black Jeep went off the roadway and a silver Hyundai Tuscon was blocking traffic lanes. It’s unknown what led up to the collision at this time. Later, the CHP appended its report and stated a BMW SUV and a Toyota Tacoma pickup were involved.
Paramedics were called for someone hurt in the silver SUV, but there are no further details.
Also, the CHP requested at least one tow truck to remove a damaged vehicle.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Running Springs crash on Highway 330.
