Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Running Springs Crash at Highway 330 and Old City Creek
RUNNING SPRINGS, CA (August 1, 2021) – A crash seriously injured a motorcyclist at Highway 330 and Old City Creek Road in Running Springs.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place late Sunday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 11:40 a.m.
CHP said at least one car and the male motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason in Running Springs. The two crashed on Highway 330 at Old City Creek Road.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived and located a brown SUV and a black BMW at the scene. They also found the motorcyclist down on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced both sides of Highway 330 at Old City Creek to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Running Springs crash is still under investigation.
