Motorcyclist Martin Guillen, 50, Killed in Riverside DUI Hit-and-Run Accident
RIVERSIDE (June 11, 2018) – A motorcyclist was killed by an alleged DUI hit-and-run driver on the 215 Freeway early Sunday morning, June 10, according to The Press Enterprise.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol and Riverside County Coroner’s Office said 50-year-old Martin Guillen was riding a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle north on the 215 Freeway when he was struck from behind by a speeding 2014 Kia Forte.
The Kia was allegedly traveling more than 100 mph southbound prior to the accident which took place 3:40 a.m. near Blaine Street.

Guillen was thrown from his bike upon impact. The Long Beach man suffered fatal injuries and died as a result of the crash.
Meanwhile, officials affirmed that the Kia rolled over upon impact and its driver fled on foot. The suspect, 20-year-old Ryan Andrew Burke, was later located at his residence and was then taken into custody.
The Riverside man reportedly showed signs of intoxication and was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI, vehicular manslaughter and felony hit-and-run.
