Ryan Mills, 24, Drunk During Traffic Collision 80 Freeway Thursday
Auburn, CA (April 23, 2021) – Police arrested 24-year-old Ryan Mills following a car accident on Interstate 80 on April 22, Thursday.
According to Gold Country Media, Ryan Mills was driving on I-80 Freeway at about 9:35 p.m.
Earlier reports indicated Ryan Mills collided with another vheicle in the area near Douglas Boulevard in Auburn. Preliminary investigation revealed a 2009 gold Toyota Corolla slammed into the median along the eastbound side of the freeway. The force from the impact sent the Toyota Corolla careening across all the lanes of the interstate.
Per local news source, two motorists, including Ryan Mills, failed to avoid and struck the Toyota Corolla.

The collision resulted in fatal injuries to the 18-year-old man driving the Toyota Corolla.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned Ryan Mills suffered minor injuries from the crash and received treatment at the scene. Investigators later determined the motorist was drunk at the time of the unfortunate event. Given that, police arrested the driver.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work to determine several factors surrounding the car crash in Auburn.
