Sabrina Cross, 29, Badly Injured in American Canyon Car Crash
AMERICAN CANYON, CA (April 26, 2021) – A DUI crash at Kimberly Drive and Highway 29 badly injured Sabrina Cross in American Canyon.
The Napa County Sheriff’s Office identified the 29-year-old Rodeo woman as the victim of the wreck on Sunday morning.
The incident happened on April 25 when Sabrina Cross was driving a Dodge SUV north on Highway 29 in American Canyon. At the same time, a Ford Mustang was going west on Kimberly Drive.
Deputies said the Ford then made a left turn into the northbound lanes of the highway directly into the path of the Dodge. In the process, the two cars collided at the intersection.
DUI Driver Hits Another Car at Kimberly Drive and Highway 29
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene. They found Sabrina Cross suffering from moderate injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed her to the Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment. The Napa Valley Register reported the accident at about 6:08 a.m.
A passenger in the SUV ended up unharmed upon impact. Meanwhile, officers determined that the male driver of the Mustang was under the influence of alcohol when he struck the Dodge.
Authorities soon arrested and booked him into the Napa County jail on suspicion of DUI causing injury. The American Canyon DUI crash is still under investigation.
