Child Killed in Collision at Porter Avenue and Avenue 432 Thursday
Visalia, CA (December 30, 2021) – Police arrested 28-year-old Sabrina Elizondo in relation with deadly car crash that occurred in the area of Porter Avenue and Avenue 432.
The ABC30 News reported Elizondo was behind the wheel of a vehicle heading south on Porter Road. When the vehicle approached the intersection at Avenue 432, the driver lost control, ran a stop sign, and veered off the road.
According to the article published online, the car slammed into a power transmission pole.
Rescue teams arrived at the site shortly after 4:30 a.m. First responders found the young passenger unconscious. Despite life-saving measures, the 8-year-old victim succumbed to their injuries and died.
Authorities said the female driver showed signs of intoxication when the horrible crash happened. Given that, police arrested Sabrina Elizondo for driving under the influence.
Investigators continue to work to determine other factors surrounding the deadly car crash at Porter Avenue and Avenue 432.
