Edgar Arce, 24, Arrested on Hit-and-Run Charges
ANAHEIM, Calif. (Sept. 24, 2024) – Sabrina Ruiz Adame, 47, died in a hit-and-run crash at Katella Avenue and Euclid Street on Sept. 15th and now police have arrested a suspect.
Police located the suspect, Edgar Arce, 24, of Anaheim, and arrested him on suspicion of felony hit-and-run charges, according to a press release from the Anaheim Police Department.
The deadly pedestrian accident occurred at 4:40 a.m. on September 15th on Katella Avenue, just west of Euclid Street, the report said.
Anaheim Police officers and Anaheim Fire & Rescue crews located the severely-injured woman and transported her to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
Witnesses told police the suspect was driving a dark-colored SUV and police were able to locate the suspect and place him under arrest on Sept. 18th.
