SACRAMENTO: 2 Injured in Motorcycle Crash at Fruitridge Road, 48th Street

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (July 30, 2026) — Two people were hospitalized with moderate to major injuries after a crash involving a motorcycle and a car at Fruitridge Road and 48th Street in Sacramento, according to the Sacramento Police Department.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, the two vehicles collided around 2:15 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29th near the intersection due to unknown circumstances.

The person operating the motorcycle suffered major injuries and their passenger had moderate injuries. Both were taken by ambulances to a hospital for further treatment and both are expected to recover.

The circumstances leading up to the crash are under investigation.
