2 Hurt After Rollover Crash Near Highway 50 Connector Monday
Sacramento, CA (January 10, 2022) – Two people suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 99, the CBS Sacramento News reported.
Our sources indicated a big rig tipped over and eventually fell on its side in the northbound lanes of SR-99. The crash took place near the connecting ramp onto westbound Highway 50 in Sacramento.
According to the article published online, the operator lost control of the truck as they made a turning movement on the transition road. The driver attempted to stabilize the big rig but it eventually overturned. Officials mentioned the load of the truck, a 40,000-pound pipe, ended up ejected onto the freeway.

Responding medical personnel rendered aid to all parties found at the scene. Officials later confirmed the driver, and another party both sustained minor injuries as a result of the wreck. The names of the victims and their condition at this time remained undisclosed.
