2 Vehicles Collide at Auberry Drive and Calvine Road
SACRAMENTO (July 19, 2018) – Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Auberry Drive and Calvine Road Thursday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Preliminary investigation revealed a motorist ran a red light and caused the crash in the area around 1:40 p.m.
As per the CHP log, a silver Toyota Camry slammed into a light pole and a red Nissan Altima were found at the scene. It was not immediately clear which vehicle violated the traffic light.
The conditions of the parties involved in the wreck have not been disclosed thus far.
No other details were immediately released. Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine liability in the traffic accident.
