2 Hospitalized After Collision at State Route 99 and Highway 50 Friday
Sacramento, CA (September 19, 2021) – A car accident that occurred in the area of State Route Highway 99 and 50 resulted in injuries, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
On September 17, Friday, two vehicles collided in the northbound side of Highway 99. Authorities said the crash took place near the connecting road onto US-50 in Sacramento.

Medical personnel arrived at the site shortly after 2 p.m. Paramedics at the scene immediately rendered aid to all possible victims in the collision. According to the CHP dispatch, two people with minor injuries were transported to the hospital for treatment and further evaluation. Police continue to withhold the names of the patients pending confirmation.
Several factors surrounding the car crash in Sacramento remained unclear. Given that, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the car accident on State Route Highway 99 happened.
