Possible Hit-and-Run Car Crash at Walerga Road and Elkhorn Boulevard Friday
Sacramento, CA (September 27, 2020) – Several vehicles collided in the area of Walerga Road and Elkhorn Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol reported.
On Friday, at approximately 6:15 a.m., an accident involving four automobiles took place at the Sacramento intersection. Officials later briefly described the cars found at the scene as a Kia, a Ford, a BMW, and a Toyota Tacoma.
Minor Injury Car Accident in Sacramento, September 25
The CHP first logged the crash as a hit-and-run. However, officers later changed the incident to a traffic collision with minor injury. In addition, officers confirmed at least one person suffered non-life threatening wounds as a result of the incident. The names of the victims, and their conditions at this time remained undisclosed.
Responding officers reportedly closed the crossing at Walerga Road and Elkhorn Boulevard to give way to the clearing operations and investigation process. Detectives handling the case continue to work to determine the precise circumstances that led to the car accident in Sacramento.
