Vehicle Stuck Under Semi-Truck, Highway 99
Sacramento, Calif. (July 13, 2023) — A car accident occurred Thursday afternoon on State Route Highway 99 near the Mack Road Off-ramp in Sacramento.
The collision occurred about 1:06 p.m. on July 13th, in Sacramento County, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A black sedan and semi truck collided into one another on the SR-99 Freeway. Another vehicle involved in the collision, a grey Honda caused blockage of the 3rd lane, while the semi truck involved was on the right hand side of the highway. A fourth vehicle was found stuck under the semi truck due to the crash. It was reported that it was unknown if there was another car under the semi truck.
Paramedics along with the fire department responded to help those hurt in the crash.
Meanwhile, tow trucks arrived on the scene to remove all the damaged vehicles and excess debris from the accident on State Route Highway 99 in Sacramento.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
