Two-Vehicle Crash Causes Minor Injuries on Northbound Highway 99 in Lemon Hill

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. (Dec. 29, 2025) — A two-vehicle traffic collision caused minor injuries Monday morning on northbound Highway 99 near the Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard off-ramp in the Lemon Hill area south of Sacramento.

The crash was reported on Dec. 29th at approximately 8:22 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. Initial information indicated a white SUV struck the center divider before traveling across multiple lanes of traffic. A white Honda Fit and a white Honda CR-V were ultimately involved in the collision.

Debris was reported in the roadway, prompting a response from CHP and Sacramento Fire Department crews. One vehicle came to rest on the right shoulder, and officials confirmed the collision resulted in minor injuries. No lanes were fully blocked at the time of the report.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the scene, and traffic was briefly impacted in the area during the morning commute.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and no additional information on those injured was immediately available.
