Major Injury Collision on Elder Creek Road Monday
Sacramento, CA (August 23, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on Elder Creek Road Monday, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated a BMW hatchback collided with a semi truck in the 9881 block of Elder Creek Road.
Shortly after 12:29 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the crash site. First responders found the BMW pinned underneath the truck. Firefighters at the scene worked extensively to pull out all parties possibly trapped in the wreckage.

Medical personnel later confirmed one person involved in the collision suffered major injuries as a result of the incident. An ambulance rushed the patient to the hospital for treatment and further evaluation.
Additional details on the crash have not been discussed thus far. At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the car and truck accident on Elder Creek Road.
