2 Officers Injured in Car Crash on Highway 12
DATE OF COLLISION: Thursday, September 20th
September 21, 2018 – At least two people were injured in a traffic collision Thursday afternoon on Highway 12.
Multi-Vehicle Accident Thursday in Sacramento
According to CBS News, an unmarked Sacramento police car rear-ended another unmarked police car causing a chain reaction. Officials said a total of four vehicles were involved in the accident, including two civilian cars.
Medical records indicated paramedics transported two Sacramento police officers to North Bay Medical with moderate injuries. The names of the patients and their conditions at this time remained unknown.
No other injuries were reported in the accident.
At this time, detectives handling the case continue to work to determine exactly what triggered the crash. Liabilities in the collision are still being investigated.
