1 Hospitalized After Collision on Highway 50 Saturday
Sacramento, CA (October 9, 2021) – A car accident that occurred on State Route Highway 50 resulted in injuries, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
Initial records indicated three or more vehicles collided for an unknown reason on the westbound lanes of the highway in South Sacramento. The crash took place near the Stockton Boulevard offramp. At this time, the make and model of the automobiles involved in the wreck have not been discussed thus far.
CHP logged the incident at approximately 1:15 p.m.

When emergency teams arrived at the location, they found at least one person with injuries. Due to the condition of the victim, paramedics transported them to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Several factors surrounding the car accident on Highway 50 remained unclear. Given that, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the crash.
