Multi-Car Crash on Interstate 80 Friday
Sacramento, CA (April 11, 2021) – On April 9, Friday, at least one person suffered injuries following a car accident on Interstate 80 in Sacramento.
The California Highway Patrol group reported multiple vehicles collided in the eastbound side of Interstate 80 near the Norwood Avenue offramp.

Shortly after 10:45 p.m., emergency teams arrived at the site and found a semi truck involved in the crash. Officials said the wreck also involved a motorcycle rider; a white Chevrolet Suburban; a dark-colored compact car; and a gray Mitsubishi sedan.
Medical personnel responded to the accident scene and attended to all possible victims. According to the CHP log, at least one person suffered minor injuries in the collision.
Police continue to withhold the names of the people involved in the wreck pending confirmation.
At the moment, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate exactly how and why the car accident on Interstate 80 is ongoing.
