Multi-Vehicle Collision on El Dorado Freeway Sunday
Sacramento, CA (September 5, 2021) – At least one person suffered serious injuries following a car accident that occurred on El Dorado (50) Freeway Sunday.
The California Highway Patrol group reported the collision involved as many as four automobiles. Officials said the force from the impact caused one car to overturn and flip on its side.
Shortly after 9:37 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the crash site. First responders found at the scene an orange Chevrolet pickup truck; a gray Chevrolet; a white SUV; and a light-colored sedan.
Pregnant Woman Possibly Injured in Sacramento Car Accident, September 5
Our sources indicated a pregnant woman was ejected onto the roadway during the collision. Paramedics immediately rendered aid to the woman, and all other possible victims in the wreck.
The CHP dispatch later confirmed the accident resulted in major injuries. At this time, the names of all the injured parties and their age remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led to the car accident on US-50 Freeway near Watt Avenue.
