5 Injured After Car and Train Collides Near 17th Street and Quill Alley
DATE OF COLLISION: Monday, October 29th
October 29, 2018 – Several people were injured after a light-rail train and a car collided Monday morning at a midtown crossing, according to Sacramento Bee.
As per the article, a red sports car was attempting to drive around the crossing guard rails when it was struck by an RT train about 8:29 a.m. near 17th Street and Quill Alley.
The collision resulted in injuries to the driver of the car, and four RT passengers, officials said. All hurt parties were reportedly taken to local hospital for treatment.
At this time, the names of the patients remained unknown.
The investigators handling the case continue to work to determine liability in the accident.
