SACRAMENTO, California (March 31, 2017) – A major injury collision occurred in the area of Skywoods Way and Power Inn Road on Friday evening, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
CHP said a 2006 gray Honda Civic and a white colored sedan collided at approximately 7:50 p.m. The Honda sustained major front-end damage following the crash.
As per the report log, Sacramento Fire Department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to at least one person who was confirmed to have been seriously hurt in the wreck. The victim was then taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
The name and condition of the patient at this time remained unknown.
Authorities will continue to investigate the cause of the incident.
