2 Critically Injured in Sacramento Crash on Bradshaw Road Near Jackson Highway
SACRAMENTO, CA (June 3, 2023) – Two were critically injured after a crash on Bradshaw Road near Jackson Highway in Sacramento.
According to the FOX 40 News and ABC 10 News, the accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck as a head-on collision on June 3 shortly before 2 p.m.
The Sacramento Metro Fire said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Sacramento. The incident happened on Bradshaw Road south of Jackson Highway.
The California Highway Patrol described the vehicles involved as a white work truck, a blue Toyota SUV and another SUV.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and freed at least one trapped occupant from the wreckage. Two people ended up suffering from life-threatening injuries as a result of the wreck.
Medical personnel then rushed both patients to a hospital and listed them in critical condition. Two other individuals declined transportation.
The reports did not disclose the names of the wounded parties. Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Bradshaw Road to shut down for a time near Jackson following the wreck.
The cause of the Sacramento crash is still under investigation.
