1 Injured in Sacramento Crash on Highway 50 at Stockton Boulevard
SACRAMENTO, CA (January 23, 2022) – One was hospitalized after a car crash on Highway 50 and Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on Saturday morning, January 22. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 7:42 a.m.
CHP said five vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city of Sacramento. They crashed on westbound Highway 50 at the Stockton Boulevard on-ramp.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found one person who sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the UC Davis Medical Center for treatment. The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the westbound Highway 50 at Stockton Boulevard to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Sacramento crash is still under investigation.
