Vehicle Slams Into Tree Along Garden Highway Sunday
Sacramento, CA (January 23, 2022) – A traffic accident that occurred Sunday on Garden Highway resulted in injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Earlier reports indicated a vehicle veered off the roadway while traveling in the area near Pritchard Lake Road. Officials mentioned the car struck a tree and continued down the embankment. The black pickup truck came to a rest approximately 50 feet below the roadway.
Shortly after 11:43 a.m., rescue teams arrived at the site. Responding paramedics attended to all possible victims in the accident. After the evaluation, medical personnel transported at least one person to the hospital for treatment of major injuries. The name an age of the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.
Additional details on the car crash have not been discussed thus far. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the collision on Garden Highway in Sacramento.
