Multi-Vehicle Collision Near Highway 50
Sacramento, CA (April 21, 2022) – One person, or possibly more, suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred on Highway 99, the KCRA News reported.
Officials said five vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the northbound side of SR-99 in South Sacramento. According to the article published online, the crash happened in the area near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard offramp. The make and model of the cars involved in the wreck have not been revealed thus far.
Injury Car Accident on Highway 99 in Sacramento
When rescue teams arrived, they immediately checked the conditions of all the parties found at the scene. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed the accident resulted in injuries. However, the exact number of people hurt and the extent of their trauma remained undisclosed.
Detectives stayed at the crash site for several hours. They continue to investigate the precise circumstances that led up to the collision on Highway 99 in Sacramento.
Due to the incidnet, traffic congested from where Highway 99 intersects with Highway 50 to past Florin Road.
