2-Vehicle Collision Near Norwood Avenue
Sacramento, CA (October 16, 2022) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on the Interstate 80 Freeway.
On October 11, two vehicles reportedly collided in the eastbound side of the I-80 near Norwood Avenue. According to the Sacramento Fire Department, the crash took place Wednesday around 4:13 p.m.

Medical personnel later arrived at the accident scene. First responders immediately checked the conditions of all parties involved in the crash. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person sustained minor injuries as a result of the wreck. An ambulance transported the patient to a hospital for further treatment. Pending confirmation, the name of the injured party remained undisclosed.
At this time, several factors surrounding the incident have not been revealed thus far. Investigators continue to work to determine exactly how and why the collision happened on Interstate 80 in Sacramento.
