1 Badly Injured in Sacramento Car Crash on Phoenix Park Drive
SACRAMENTO, CA (April 21, 2021) – One person was badly injured after a car crash along Phoenix Park Drive in Sacramento.
The Sacramento Fire Department received a call about the accident on Tuesday morning. Officers reported the wreck on April 20 shortly after 11 a.m.
According to their report posted online, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed in the 7400 Block of Phoenix Park Drive in Sacramento.
Rollover Collision Near Caselli and El Mango
A video showed that a silver Nissan rolled onto its side upon impact. A red colored car sustained damage to its right front side as a result of the collision.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene near Caselli Circle and El Mango Way. They then extricated at least one trapped occupant from the wreckage.
Medical personnel soon took one victim to a trauma facility for treatment of moderate injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the Phoenix Park Drive to shut down following the crash. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the wreck.
