1 Seriously Injured in Sacramento County Crash at Florin and Excelsior Roads
SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (December 3, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Florin Road and Excelsior Road in Sacramento County.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the wreck took place on Friday morning. Officers reported the accident at about 7:10 a.m.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason near Florin in Sacramento County. They crashed at the intersection of Florin and Excelsior roads.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Dunmore Park Preserve Area. They found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. The report did not release the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Florin and Excelsior roads to shut down following the crash. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
