1 Seriously Injured in Sacramento County Crash at Hazel and Tributary Point
SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (September 15, 2021) – A crash seriously injured one person at Hazel Avenue and Tributary Point Drive in Sacramento County.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Wednesday afternoon near Highway 50. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 2:31 p.m.
CHP said a BMW sedan and a truck with a trailer collided for an unknown reason in Sacramento County. The two crashed at the intersection of Hazel Avenue and Tributary Point Drive.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Gold River and Rancho Cordova areas. They found a female occupant of the BMW hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the woman to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded patient and her condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the intersection of Hazel and Tributary Point to shut down following the wreck. Officers are still determining the cause of the Sacramento County crash.
