5 Injured in Sacramento County Crash on Highway 12 Near Terminus Road

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (March 12, 2022) – A crash injured several people on Highway 12 near Terminus Road in Sacramento County.

According to the ABC 10 News and KCRA News, the accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:57 p.m.

The River Delta Fire District said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Sacramento County. They crashed on westbound Highway 12 near Terminus Road.

A California Highway Patrol dispatch described the cars a gold Honda sedan, a white Toyota Camry and another gold sedan. One of them went off the road into a ditch upon impact.

Multiple Cars Collide

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. At least five people, including two children, ended up hurt as a result of the collision.

Air ambulance then took one victim where medical personnel listed them in critical condition. Ground ambulances rushed the other patients to the hospital for treatment.

The report did not discloses the name of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the cause of the Sacramento County crash is still under investigation.

CHP forced the westbound lanes of Highway 12 to shut down for about three hours near Terminus following the wreck.
