1 Seriously Injured in Sacramento County Crash Near White Rock and Prairie City
SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (April 26, 2021) – A crash seriously injured at least one person near White Rock Road and Prairie City Road in Sacramento County.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 1:21 p.m.
The report log said two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason. They crashed near the intersection of White Rock Road and Prairie City Road in Sacramento County.
Head-On Collision Near Folsom and Rancho Cordova
CHP described the two cars involved as a white colored sedan and a gray pickup truck. One of them caught fire as a result of the collision.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Folsom and Rancho Cordova. They found one individual who suffered major injuries upon impact.
Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, officials forced the roadway to shut down following the Sacramento County crash. Authorities are still determining the cause of the wreck.
