1 Killed in Sacramento County Crash at Florin Road and Watt Avenue
SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (June 5, 2021) – At least one was killed after a car crash at Florin Road and Watt Avenue in Sacramento County.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the tragic accident on Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 5:21 a.m. near Florin and Vineyard areas.
According to their dispatch team, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Sacramento County. They crashed at the intersection of Florin Road and South Watt Avenue.
Car Collision Near Florin and Vineyard
CHP described the cars involved as a black Toyota Corolla and a tan Toyota Camry. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the United States Postal Service.
They confirmed that one person died as a result of the collision. The name of the deceased victim remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the intersection of Florin and Watt to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Sacramento County crash is still under investigation.
