1 Injured in Sacramento County Hit-and-Run at Madison Avenue and Toombs Street
SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (June 14, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Madison Avenue and Toombs Street in Sacramento County.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident on Monday afternoon. According to their dispatch team, officers reported the wreck at about 2:24 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Sacramento County. They crashed at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Toombs Street.
Car Collision Near Fair Oaks and Carmichael
The report log described the cars involved as a Nissan 4-door and a black Toyota 4-door sedan. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near Fair Oaks and Carmichael.
Medical personnel found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. They then treated the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the wreck.
Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that one of the drivers involved did not stop to render aid and fled the area.
Officers forced the intersection of Madison and Toombs to close following the collision. Authorities are still searching for the suspect. The Sacramento County hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
