1 Injured in Sacramento County Hit-and-Run Crash at Sunrise and Madison
SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (October 13, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured at least one person at Sunrise Boulevard and Madison Avenue in Sacramento County.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place early Wednesday. Officers reported the wreck at around 2:43 a.m.
CHP said three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Sacramento County. They crashed at the intersection of Sunrise Boulevard and Madison Avenue.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the areas of Citrus Heights and Fair Oaks. They found one person hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then treated the victim for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The dispatch did not release the name of the wounded patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that one of the drivers involved did not stop to render aid and fled the area. The Sacramento County hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the intersection of Sunrise and Madison to shut down following the wreck.
