
Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Sloughhouse Crash on Scott Road
SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (February 19, 2023) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash on Scott Road near Sloughhouse in Sacramento County.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Sunday morning. Officers reported the wreck on February 19 at around 11:43 a.m.
The incident happened when a car and the motorcycle rider collided for an unknown reason near Sloughhouse. The two crashed at 3830 Scott Road.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
CHP described the car involved as a 2020 white Kia Optima. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
They found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition. Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Scott Road to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Sloughhouse crash is still under investigation.
