Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Sacramento County Crash at Roseville and Tacomic
SACRAMENTO COUNTY, CA (November 19, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a crash at Roseville Road and Tacomic Drive in Sacramento County.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the accident took place on Friday evening. Officers reported the collision at about 7:56 p.m.
According to CHP, a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Sacramento County. The driver hit the person at the intersection of Roseville Road and Tacomic Drive.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Elkhorn Boulevard. They found the victim who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to the Mercy San Juan Medical Center for treatment. The incident log did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the person. Officers forced the area of Roseville and Tacomic to close following the collision.
The cause of the Sacramento County pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
