Traffic Accident on I-5 Freeway in Natomas Area of Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (July 25, 2024) — A two-vehicle crash in Sacramento happened Thursday morning on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway, just south of Del Paso Road.
The collision occurred at around 11:06 a.m. on July 25th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver of a white BMW sedan collided with a white van due to unknown circumstances. A blue pickup truck and an SUV may have also been involved.
Multi-Vehicle Collision in Sacramento on I-5 Freeway
At least one vehicle was blocking the fast lane and the BMW was underneath the overturned van on the side of the roadway, the report said.
It’s unknown what led up to the traffic accident or if anyone was injured, but the Sacramento Fire Department was on its way to help those hurt.
Tow trucks removed at least two of the vehicles from the roadway.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Interstate 5 Freeway crash in the Natomas area of Sacramento.
