Minor Injury Accident on I-5 Freeway
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (June 1, 2023) — A minor injury Sacramento crash happened Thursday on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway near the J Street off ramp.
The two-vehicle collision occurred in the middle lanes around 9:21 a.m. on June 1st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers involved were a white Nissan Armada SUV and a yellow Penske box truck. One of the vehicles rear-ended the other vehicle, the report said.
Paramedics with the Sacramento Fire Department responded and located one person with minor injuries. They transported the person to Kaiser Medical Center for further treatment.
Meanwhile, the two vehicles were towed from the scene due to damage from the accident.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Sacramento crash on the Interstate 5 Freeway.
