2 Hospitalized; Sacramento Crash on I-5 Freeway
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (July 22, 2021) — A Sacramento crash on the Interstate 5 Freeway Thursday afternoon sent two people to the hospital with minor injuries.
The drivers of a black 2006 Mitsubishi Outlander reportedly collided with a blue Ford Taurus and a white Ford pickup truck about 1:58 p.m. on July 22nd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Also, several motorists pulled over and tried to help the person or people in the SUV. The circumstances leading to the crash are unknown at this time, but liability will be determined.
Multi-Vehicle Accident Interstate 5 Freeway
Additionally, firefighters and paramedics with the Sacramento Fire Department responded the Interstate 5 crash scene. Also, they transported two people with minor injuries to Mercy General Hospital. Police did not provide the age, gender and or identity of the injured people.
Meanwhile, a tow truck removed the damaged SUV from the accident scene.
Finally, CHP traffic investigators seek to determine liability for the Interstate 5 Freeway car accident.
Witnesses may contact the CHP officials to help them with the investigation.
