Cyclist Dies in Hit-and-Run Collision at Kenwood Street and Arcade Boulevard
Sacramento, CA (November 11, 2022) – A bicyclist suffered fatal injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that happened at the intersection of Kenwood Street and Arcade Boulevard.
Fatal Bicycle vs. Car Crash in Sacramento
On Wednesday, at about 4:35 p.m., a woman riding a bike collided with a vehicle at a crossing in Sacramento. The KCRA News reported the female cyclist suffered life-threatening injuries as a result of the accident. When medical personnel arrived, they attempted to revive the victim but she sadly succumbed to her injuries and passed away at the scene. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, according to the article published online, the motorist involved in the horrible crash fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole afternoon. They continue to work at this time to determine several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident that happened at Kenwood Street and Arcade Boulevard.
