Man, 57, Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Foothill Farms Thursday
Sacramento, CA (December 2, 2021) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred in the area of Greenholme Drive and Hillsdale Boulevard Thursday evening, according to KCRA3 News.
Earlier reports indicated multiple vehicles struck a male party south of the Foothill Farms area. Preliminary investigation revealed a Subaru Impreza first hit the victim. Due to the force from the impact, the pedestrian was thrown onto the roadway. An oncoming Jeep Patriot failed to avoid and ran over the body lying on the ground. Officials added a third automobile possibly contributed to the horrible crash.

Shortly after 6:20 p.m., medical personnel arrived at the accident. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the pedestrian but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. Authorities briefly described the fatal victim as a 57-year-old man.
Additional details on the unfortunate event remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the fatal pedestrian accident at Greenholme Drive and Hillsdale Boulevard.
