Man Hit and Killed by Vehicle Near 26th Street
Sacramento, CA (November 17, 2022) – A pedestrian suffered fatal injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 50, the CBS News reported.
Our sources indicated a vehicle struck a male party on the highway near 26th Street in Sacramento. The make and model of the car involved in the collision remained unknown at this time.
According to the article published online, the pedestrian tried to move from the center divider of SR-50 to the shoulder. In the process, a vehicle hit the man.
Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Highway 50 in Sacramento
Emergency crews arrived at the crash site shortly after 7 p.m. First responders found the pedestrian unconscious. Despite life-saving measures performed by paramedics, the victim sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. Authorities continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Investigator continue to work at this time to determine liability in the deadly accident that happened on Highway 50 in Sacramento.
