Vehicle Strikes, Kills Man Near Mack Road Tuesday
Sacramento, CA (March 1, 2022) – A fatal pedestrian accident occurred Tuesday evening on Highway 99, the CBS Sacramento News reported.
Our sources indicated a vehicle struck an individual in the southbound side of the highway in South Sacramento. The horrible crash took place in the area near Mack Road.

Shortly after 9:30 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. First responders found the pedestrian lying unconscious on the ground. Despite life-saving measures performed by paramedics, the victim sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. The identity of the fatal victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Authorities mentioned the driver involved in the unfortunate event stayed on scene.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident on Highway 99 in Sacramento.
