Vehicle Strikes, Kills Pedestrian on Capital City Freeway Friday
Sacramento, CA (January 28, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a deadly pedestrian accident that occurred on State Route 51, also known as Capital City Freeway.
Our sources indicated a vehicle struck an individual walking along the northbound lanes of the highway. The collision took place near P Street onramp in Sacramento.
The CHP logged the horrible crash Friday at about 11:15 p.m.

When emergency crews arrived at the location, first responders found the pedestrian lying on the ground. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. Police continue to withhold the identity of the deceased pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident on State Route 51 in Sacramento.
