3 Adults, 2 Children Injured in Sacramento DUI Crash at Florin and Power Inn
SACRAMENTO (September 16, 2018) – Several were injured after an alleged DUI crash in the area of Florin and Power Inn roads Sunday afternoon, according to The Sacramento Bee and KCRA.
The accident took place at about 5:30 p.m.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol said a pickup truck was being chased by a patrol car after its driver was seen traveling at about 65 to 70 mph.
The motorist, a 22-year-old man, then fled and ran a red light into the intersection going south on Power Inn. The suspect who was believed to have been drunk driving at the time ultimately hit four other cars.

One of the vehicles struck by the pickup, a Ford Mustang, was forced into the median and into a ditch.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to a total of five people, including two young girls, who were hurt as a result of the crash.
The occupants of the Mustang were taken to the hospital with serious injuries while the other drivers were treated for minor wounds and were later released.
The names and condition of all the victims were not disclosed. Meanwhile, the 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
